The Fifth Membership Conference of Wenzhou Pump and Valve Industry Association was held smoothly

On January 4, 2019, the Fifth Membership Conference of Wenzhou Pump and Valve Industry Association was solemnly held at the Wanhe Hausheng Hotel. Xu Zhuliang, deputy director of the Municipal Economic and Credit Commission, Yu Wei, deputy director of the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, Song Yinli, secretary-general of the Zhongvalley Association, attended the meeting, and more than 200 representatives of member units attended the meeting. Cao Chi, Dean of Wenzhou Pump and Valve Engineering Research Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology, and Assistant Dean Mei Liwen were invited to attend the meeting.

President Yang Rongshui first made a work report on behalf of the four councils, reviewed the development of pump and valve industry and the innovation work of the association in the past four years, and put forward suggestions for the work of the five councils. The conference also considered and adopted four sessions of the association's financial report, draft amendments to the statute, draft electoral methods, the list of members of the five sessions of the board of directors, and the criteria for payment of membership fees. During this period, the General Assembly also organized five sessions of a Council meeting, elected the President, Vice-President, Board of Directors, members of the Board of Supervisors and expert group members, and adopted the list of consultants and the Secretary-General. The conference also held a licensing ceremony for the presidential and vice-presidential units.

Yang Rongshui, elected President of the Fifth Board of Governors, made a statement of his position. Song Yin, secretary-general of China Valve Association, wrote a report entitled Future Development Prospect of Valve Industry in China. The paper made a detailed and profound analysis on the market situation of pump and valve industry at home and abroad, the current situation of Wenzhou pump and valve industry, the prospects of domestic production and demand, opportunities and challenges in the future.


Xu Zhuliang, deputy director of the Municipal Economic and Credit Commission, made a concluding speech to the General Assembly, affirmed the important contribution of the pump valve industry as the five traditional pillar industries of the whole city to the economic and social development of Wenzhou, praised the entrepreneurs of the pump valve for their hard work and courage to be the first entrepreneurs, and pointed out that the sustainable and stable development of the pump valve industry in Wenzhou should be innovative. Intelligent and high quality is the only way. Entrepreneurs are inspired and confident about the future.
